Food Distribution Event

Kamdahari, Garia, South Kolkata - June 2025

On June 12, 2025 NishchayaCare and Connect Foundation organized a food distribution event at Kamdahari, Garia, South Kolkata. Children and women from the community gathered to accept our gifts. the event was organized in the premises of a tailoring centers meant for women's empowerment. Local community leaders (women) got together and arranged the event. children were happy to receive Oreo biscuits and Cadbury eclairs. We are grateful to India Humanity Foundation and Indian Food Banking Network and Mondelez India Foods Limited for their generous support.

Notebooks for School Students

Purulia, West Bengal - April 2025

In April 2025, we supported the Khairipihira Maa Saradamani school in Purulia, which serves marginalized communities. At the request of Secretary Swapna Saha, we collaborated with Arindam Das of Rahara Eighty Eight Degree East Foundation to arrange notebooks for the students for the entire year. We also saw young teachers from Kolkata engaging with the children, further enriching their learning experience.

Clothing Drive for Fruit Market Porters

Jorasanko, Central Kolkata - January 2025

Our January 2025 project focused on collecting and distributing clothing and household items to those in need. Thanks to the generous donations from our friends and relatives, we gathered gently used items. We then sorted and distributed these essentials to the porters and their families working in the fruit wholesaler's market. We extend our sincere thanks to all our donors and supporters for making this possible.

Nutritious Breakfast for Children

Garia, East Kolkata - December 2024

In December 2024, we partnered with the Indian Food Banking Network and Rotary India Literacy Mission to provide boxes of Kellogg's Chocos to children in the Garia area. This initiative aimed to add valuable nutrition to their breakfast, bringing smiles to both children and their mothers. We are grateful for the support and look forward to future collaborations to benefit more communities.
